Description
The story of the Little Sister began with the puzzling question of how the early delta bluesmen fascinated a listener with a guitar and their simple, yet soulful vocal lines.
We collected samples from the 1920s and 30s, many of which were in poor condition and needed complete restoration, and began to create the unique design that would best serve the guitar sound we became hooked on. And so the Little Sister was born.
We pick the old-growth timber for the tops and refine it to a rustic soundboard. The Cedar of Lebanon has the most acoustic-like tonal quality out of all of our electrics. At first, the COL may appear as the most delicate sounding Little Sister, but add dirt, and it’s the ultimate blues machine.
Soft V Neck Shape
Our «Soft V» neck profile is inspired by a vintage acoustic neck, solid yet comfortable, to retain our trademark «parlor» feel and facilitate the thumb fretting techniques.
Handmade Electronics
Each pickup is wound by hand with AWG42 lacquered enamel copper wire, powered by in-house cast AlNiCo II and AlNiCo V magnets and covered by our handmade brass covers.
Solid Cedar
Sometimes luck is on our side, like when we found an incredible stash of Cedar of Lebanon, just outside of our workshop. It was like the wood was patiently waiting for us. The Cedar of Lebanon is a sweet, delicate sounding wood, with warm rounded trebles and a special acoustic tonal quality.

Cedrus libani or Lebanon cedar has been known since the dawn of history as a strong and luxuriant tree. It is mentioned in various ancient texts, including several references in the Bible. King Solomon used this species of cedar to build the Temple in Jerusalem.
